The grant was repealed in 1957 and a new grant of sovereign tide and submerged lands was granted for the establishment, improvement and conduct of a harbor, including an airport or aviation facilities, and for the construction maintenance and operation of wharves, docks, piers, slips, quays, and other utilities and appliances necessary or convenient for the promotion and accommodation of commerce and navigation by air and water, and for public buildings and parks, and playgrounds and public recreational purposes.

An act conveying certain tidelands and lands lying under inland navigable waters, situate in San Francisco Bay to the City of Sausalito, in furtherance of navigation and commerce and the fisheries, and providing for the government, management and control thereof, reserving rights to the State.
