The California State Lands Commission has amended several regulations in 2026, and the Marine Invasive Species Program will host a webinar on October 15 at 11 a.m. to provide an overview of these updates.
The webinar will cover:
- Ballast Water Exchange Requirements for Vessels Discharging at California’s Low-Salinity Ports (Effective July 27, 2026)
- Enforcement and Hearing Process amendments (Effective October 1, 2026)
- Marine Invasive Species Control Fund Fee Adjustment (Effective August 1, 2026)
- Update on the Marine Invasive Species Program data Dashboard
