Ninette joined the Commission as a Public Land Management Specialist in November 1999 after spending a few years handling insurance claims and appraising houses. Ninette has worked on a variety of leases and projects involving the use of state-owned sovereign and school lands. From 2011-2025, she served as the manager of the Land Management Division’s Northern California team. Ninette has a B.A. in Geography from UC Davis and an M.B.A. from CSU Sacramento.
