Assistant Chief Counsel
Pamela Griggs joined the Commission’s Legal Division in 2000 and became Assistant Chief Counsel in 2014. Before earning her JD from UC Davis, she worked for over 10 years in cultural resources management for the U.S. National Park Service in Denver, Colorado and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in Casper, Wyoming. Pamela holds a BA in History from Oberlin College and studied at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland her junior year. Before law school, she pursued graduate work in public history at CSU Fullerton. Pamela manages the Commission’s dedicated team of staff attorneys.
