Dennis Vogel has been with the California State Lands Commission – Marine Environmental Protection Division since 2001. As an Assistant Division Chief, he helps the Division Chief manage and direct the activities of a state-wide pollution prevention program that regulates marine oil terminals, inspects vessels for compliance with marine invasive species prevention regulations and implements Marine Oil Terminal Engineering and Maintenance Standards (MOTEMS).

Prior to his state service, Dennis was a Terminal Manager for a tank storage terminals corporation. Dennis earned a BA and MBA from Loyola Marymount University in Business Administration.
