City of Emeryville
The City of Emeryville was granted sovereign tide and submerged lands in trust in 1919 for the establishment of a harbor, construction, maintenance and operation of wharves, docks, piers, quays and other utilities, structures and appliances necessary or convenient to promote and accommodate commerce and navigation. The grant was amended in 1959 and 1968, in part, to allow recreation, education, industrial and commercial uses in which there is a general statewide interest.
