Prevention First 2012

The California State Lands Commission will present its tenth biennial conference, Prevention First 2012:  An Onshore and Offshore Pollution Prevention Symposium & Technology Exhibition, on October 23-24, 2012, at The Westin Long Beach Hotel.  We typically host over 400 representatives from both the public sector and private industry; attendees gather the latest information on human and organizational factors, ballast water management, pipeline safety, marine facility engineering, and marine terminal operations.  The accompanying Technology Exhibition showcases over 40 exhibits relating to pollution prevention at marine oil terminals and offshore platforms, as well as engineering, safety and security products, and associated services.
